Some of the finest Yorkshire rare breed cattle, pigs and sheep come from within miles of Malton. This is a meat course to celebrate those amazing animals. You may be cooking with Dexter Beef from the North York Moors, Tamworths pigs or other fantastic beasts!

From butchery and preparation to complete dishes the Best of Yorkshire Meat course is a meat lovers dream!

Recipes and tips will be available for you so you can put your new skills to the test at home. This course will be informative and relaxed with the emphasis on having fun.

The Best of Yorkshire Meat course will give you the confidence to use local produce using these delicious recipes.

Course Outline

10.00 Arrive at the Malton Cookery School for tea & coffee
10.15 Gilly, your tutor will talk you through the day and issue you with your aprons and menu packs. Start cooking!
12.00 Dishes are prepared are eaten throughout the day with a glass of wine or two.
Finish up for the day remembering to take your recipe pack and apron.
